Longview Lodge
Longview Lodge was built in 2015 with a complete refresh in 2022. The reason we named it Longview is apparent as soon as you take in the breathtaking views and sunsets from the wrap around covered deck.
Exterior
The lodge is situated to optimize the west facing sunsets off of the back deck and balcony. Relax by the covered fireplace or in one of the 4 porch swings while you look over the surrounding area and rolling hills. We highly recommend heading out on the balcony after dark on a clear night and enjoying the starry night sky.
The hot tub and lower patio open up to a large landscaped area and fire pit. Access to the pond for catch and release fishing is only with rental of the Longview Lodge. You will need to bring your own poles and tackle as they are not provided at this time.
Interior
You are greeted with a soaring 26 foot vaulted ceiling in this full log home. The focal point is a floor to ceiling natural stone fireplace, and there is no drywall to be found. There is ample seating and an open and inviting format to enjoy the space with your family and friends. The kitchen is well stocked and the booth style dining table allows for seating up to 10 with 3 additional seats at the bar height counter.
If it's a rainy day or you are just feeling competitive head to the lower level game room and challenge your friends to a classic arcade game or a game of pool. Take in a movie from Satellite TV or the well stocked Blu-ray collection.
There are three levels of sleeping accommodations for 16 people, and a full bathroom on each floor.
